Tattooing is not something that I produce, it is a way to produce a change in me and my clients. Striving to be better and to create an image that translates my clients views, experiences, and ideas is my ultimate goal.
I received a "not so good" tattoo from an tattooist, and that made me wonder who else felt bad about their work. That was the kick that I needed to become an apprentice. An amazing person named Jay Painter, from Independent Tattoo in St. Joseph, MO gave me the chance of a lifetime. I wanted to make sure that nobody felt the way I did when I got a terrible tattoo. I became a sponge and dove into every art form imaginable. I continue to push myself out of every comfort zone I have. After I completed my apprenticeship on Halloween of 2011, I moved to St. Augustine, FL where I grew as a person and an artist. Being surrounded by positive people is what I strive on. After two years in Lawrence, KS I moved to a brand new shop called Champion Tattoo Studio, in Olathe, KS, where I currently am.
Ever-advancing my skills and perspective, I'm only as good as my last tattoo.
